Lake Royal, a 46-acre lake, is accessible to Glen Cove by a walking trail and offers beautiful views and a great space for walking, running or biking. The lake includes a 1.75 mile loop trail with picnic tables, playgrounds, basketball/tennis courts, athletic fields, benches, and exercise stations. During the summer months, the County also hosts several family friendly events and concerts at Lake Royal.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) are among the best in the nation. Parents in our community are pleased to send their children to Oak View Elementary and Robinson Secondary School.

Robinson Secondary School is ranked 13th within Virginia. Students have the opportunity to take International Baccalaureate coursework and exams. The school boasts several concernt bands and a marching band known as the Robinson Marching Rams.

Only a mile from Glen Cove, the Burke Centre Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Station offers trains in and out of DC each day with stops in Alexandria, Crystal City, and downtown Washington, DC including L’Enfant Station and Union Station. The VRE is a cleaner, quick, and pleasant experience. VRE operates 30 trains from 19 stations and carry, on average, 20,000 passengers daily.

We have a beautiful pool adjacent to the community, and Glen Cove Residents are required to become members annually. Located between phases I and II of Glen Cove off Brigantine Way, Glen Cove Swim Club has a regulation pool with a dedicated lap lane, a diving well with a brand new diving board, and a baby pool.
